The Gagauzia Modernization Convention was a complex project with three components.
The first component aimed at creating a platform for active communication between civil society and authorities, the so-called Working Groups. They were created in 4 thematical areas: Youth and Sports, Education and Culture, Social Infrastructure, and Regional Development.
The second component aimed at introducing the Gagauzian Youth Leadership Program (GYLP), during which were 20 young people trained on basic leadership skills necessary for the 21st century.
The third component aimed at financial support of social initiatives in Gagauzia. Out of 100 applications, 24 projects were funded throughout the region.
